A Letter From Bad Santa .com supports responsible e-commerce, and condemns the use of unsolicited commercial e-mail, sometimes known as UCE and usually referred to as "spam."
What is Spam?
- Any e-mail advertising illicit or illegal activities;
- Any message sent to e-mail addresses which were provided by a third party;
- Any message sent to e-mail addresses which were not provided by the recipient, including but not limited to those collected from newsgroups, web sites, and domain registration information.
What is NOT Spam?
E-mail notifications sent by an organization about a topic which the recipient had previously requested information about, provided that the sender provides a mechanism for recipients to remove themselves from the mailing list. This can include:
- product support updates
- organizational news updates
- new related product offerings
Our Pledge:
- We will never contact you via e-mail unless you contact us first.
- If you give us your e-mail address, we will never sell or distribute it to outside parties for any reason.
- We do link to other sites, and endeavor only to link to sites that act responsibly. However, we are not responsible for the privacy policies of any other site or how they treat information about their visitors.
- Unless a customer specifically requests otherwise, all sites that we design (including this one) contain hidden spam-fighting tools which discourage spammers and spam relayers.
Reporting Spam
Please do not report all of your spam to us. Having been an internet presence for some years, we receive enough spam of our own. We hate spam! ( no offense John Cleese )
However, if you receive a spam which appears to have been sent from ALetterFromBadSanta.com or from any of our other domains, please forward the message to abuse@aletterfrombadsanta.com.
Be sure to include the complete header of the message (not just the From: and To: lines), and the forgers will be put on Bad Santa's "Naughty Rat Bastard" List.
